OPEN ENROLLMENT begins for Kid's World Afterschool Care on May 1, 2013. All those interested in having their child attend afterschool care for the 2013-14 school year need to complete the registration paperwork and return it to the Kid's World address at 2710 N. Woods Lane, Rogers, Arkansas, 72756. The paperwork is found on the Rogers School District website under Support services/Afterschool care. We are opening two new facilities this year. Janie Darr Elementary and Jones Elementary will have afterschool care for the 2013-14 year. Availability is limited, so please submit registrations quickly to reserve a spot for your child. The registration fee is $10 per child once a year. Tuition is $35 a week per child. If you have questions, please contact the Kid's World office at 479-631-3696.

Congratulations to Northside's state champion Odyssey of the Mind team! Northside took not only 1st in regional and state competition but also received additional awards for their outstanding creativity and a team member's special effort. Good luck at World Finals in May!

Welcome to Rogers! New student enrollment for elementary students in grades 1-5 begins April 22 (or April 29 at Eastside). Kindergarten registration is ongoing at their boundary school. Students in grades 6-12 who will be new to the district may register Aug. 6-7 from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Enrollment forms and information on documents needed are available online if you would like to fill them out in advance. Also, visit our Newcomer web page - a great source of information for families new to the district.

Math and Literacy Night is coming to Northside, Thursday, April 25th, 5:00-6:30!!!  You and your children can go to the different grade levels to receive math and literacy activities and games to work on throughout the summer.  We are also having a book swap for students.  Bring a book, take a book...bring 5 books, take 5 books.  Students can begin bringing books to swap on Monday, April 22nd.  They can pick up books during math and literacy night.  PTO will also be selling pizza and a drink for $2 per person.  Look for more information in Tuesday folders!
